The Aircall–Salesloft integration connects your phone activity with your Salesloft and CRM data, providing rich context for every call and automating call logging. This guide explains how to install, configure, and optimize the integration.
Before you begin, ensure that you have admin rights in Aircall, Salesloft, and Salesforce or HubSpot.
Install the Salesloft integration
Follow these steps to set up the Aircall–Salesloft integration.
Steps:
- Log in to the Aircall Admin Dashboard > Integrations & API.
- In the All Integrations section, search for Salesloft and click it.
- Click Install integration to start the setup flow.
- Click Authorize when prompted.
- Under Select numbers, click Add numbers.
- Choose the Aircall numbers you want linked to Salesloft, then click Add numbers in the bottom-right corner.
Important: You can skip selecting numbers during setup. However, at least one number must be linked for call activity to log in Salesloft. You can add or remove numbers later in the Aircall Dashboard.
- On the CRM Selection page, choose the CRM to integrate with Salesloft:
- Salesforce
- HubSpot
- None (if you do not use a CRM)
Note: The selected CRM is used for contact or lead management and to sync contacts or leads with Salesloft. The integration searches for existing contacts/leads and can create new ones in the selected CRM.
- Depending on your selection, you will be redirected to log in and authorize your CRM account.
- For Salesloft, if you have multiple accounts, select the one you want to integrate.
- Next, log in to Salesloft.
- Once authorization is complete, click Finish to access your Salesloft integration settings in Aircall.
Configure your integration settings
In the Aircall Dashboard, you can manage the following settings for your Salesloft integration:
- Toggle the integration Active/Inactive
- Add a custom name
- Add or remove Aircall numbers connected to Salesloft
- Delete the integration
Important: Calls to or from numbers not connected to the integration will not log in Salesloft.
Call disposition and sentiment
Use Aircall Tags (created under Call Settings → Tags) to log Call Disposition and Call Sentiment in Salesloft.
You can map each Aircall Tag to a specific Disposition and Sentiment in Salesloft. When the tagged call ends, those fields are automatically updated in Salesloft.
Steps:
- Create or confirm the required Tags in Aircall > Call Settings > Tags.
- Map each Tag to one Disposition and one Sentiment in Salesloft.
- When calls are tagged in Aircall, the matching Disposition and Sentiment will log in Salesloft.
Note: If a tag is added after the call ends (from call history) and matches an existing mapping, the sentiment and disposition in Salesloft will be updated. However, removing a tag and adding a new one afterward will not trigger updates.
Important: Salesloft only supports one Disposition and one Sentiment per call. If multiple tags are added that map to different dispositions or sentiments, only the first ones will be logged.
Contact creation
Control how and where new contacts or leads are created during calls.
Options:
- Salesforce: Create a Lead or a Contact
- HubSpot: Create a Contact
- Salesloft: Create a Contact
- Do Nothing: Do not create new contacts or leads
If no existing record is found during a call, Aircall will create one based on your settings.
Important: If CRM Sync is already active in Salesloft for Salesforce or HubSpot, select Do Nothing for Salesloft to avoid creating duplicate contacts.
Note: When searching for contacts, Aircall first checks Salesforce or HubSpot, then Salesloft. If “None” is selected during setup, the integration searches only in Salesloft.
To ensure accurate matching, save all phone numbers in E.164 format (e.g., +18882406923).
Cadence automation
Cadence Automation controls whether Salesloft Phone-type cadence steps are automatically marked as complete after a call.
Steps:
- In the Salesloft integration settings, enable Mark Cadence Step as Complete in Salesloft.
- Choose which Call Direction to include: Inbound, Outbound, or Both.
- Choose whether to mark cadence steps before the due date.
- Choose when to mark steps as complete:
- When a call ends
- When a specific tag is added
- If you select Specific Tag, choose the tag that should trigger completion.
Important: All selected conditions must be true for a step to be marked as complete in Salesloft.
If a tag is added after a call and matches the Cadence Automation rule, the step will be marked complete. However, removing a tag and adding a new one will not trigger updates.
Note: If a person or contact belongs to multiple cadences and has a Phone-type step due in each, both steps can be marked complete after a single call, depending on your automation settings.
By completing these steps, your Aircall–Salesloft integration will be fully configured to sync calls, manage contacts, log dispositions and sentiments, and automate cadence activity across your Salesloft workflows.
