The Aircall integration for Slack enables you to integrate and send your call information into one or several Slack rooms.
In order to do so, just follow these simple instructions:
-
Log in to the Dashboard
-
Click on Integrations & API in the left sidebar menu
-
Select Discover integrations and search for Slack V2
For customers migrating from earlier versions of the Slack integration
Please head to the Aircall Dashboard > Integrations & API > My Integrations and select Slack. Disable this integration. Now proceed with the following instructions and you're done!
- Open Slack and click on Install integration
- Click Authorize
- Under Select numbers click Add numbers
-
Select the numbers you would like to have linked to the Intercom integration, then click Add numbers in the bottom right corner to continue
⚠️ Please note that you may choose to skip this step if needed, but in order for call activity to log in Slack, at least one number will need to be selected. If you would like to add or remove numbers associated with your integration at any point, you can do so directly in the Aircall Dashboard.
-
If you are not logged in to Slack, after clicking Add numbers, you will be directed to a login page for Slack
-
Once you are logged in, you will be taken to an authorization page. Choose the channel or DM you would like Aircall data to be logged to, then click on Allow
-
On the page you are directed to, select the events from your Aircall account that you want to see on Slack from the list below, then click Next
🔗 If you would like more details on each event, please read our Developer documentation
- Finally, click Finish to complete the installation!
- You will then be directed to the dashboard page where you can make adjustments to your settings as needed:
Once the installation is complete, you will be able to see messages on Slack about the activity on your Aircall account. Below is an example that shows the types of messages that will pop up when a user becomes available/unavailable.
⚠️ Note: You can add as many Slack integrations as you wish (each integration can correspond to different types of events that will be pushed to different Slack channels).
