How does this geolocation work?
No geolocation technology is used!
The app will show the country, city, and weather of the location you are calling inside the Aircall phone, under the caller insights.
Country, city, and weather insights are shown based on the region and area code of the phone number you are calling. The app does not use any geolocation technology and does not store any additional data on the caller.
As an extra perk, you will get to learn about regions and area codes as you go through your daily calls!
Celsius or Fahrenheit?
The app will display temperatures in Celsius or Fahrenheit, depending on the country you are calling.

Does this work on mobile phone numbers?
Countries without mobile area codes
In countries where mobile numbers are not tied to a region (i.e. France, Australia), the app won’t show weather insights for mobile numbers.
Countries with mobile area codes
In countries where mobile numbers are tied to a region, the app will show the weather insights. This is the case in the United States, for instance.
Will it impact my current workflows?
Not at all!
We wanted the Weather App to be simple and delightful to use. It will only show weather and location insights during inbound and outbound calls for the Aircall numbers you have selected.
