Using after-call tags is a great way to serve your customers in an efficient way or hone in on your Aircall data.
You can activate the mandatory call tagging feature on your Aircall phone lines if you are an admin.
💡 In order to take advantage of this feature, you must be subscribed to either Professional or Custom plans in Aircall.
How to set up Mandatory Call Tagging

Log in to the Dashboard

Under the Numbers section, find and select the number you would like to set up mandatory call tagging for

Click on the Settings tab

Scroll down to the Mandatory call tagging section

Select the toggle button to enable/disable mandatory call tagging for the number
Once activated, an Aircall user will be required to tag every call after it ends.
⚠️ If a call is left untagged, the Aircall user will be stuck in an unavailable status and will not be able to continue taking calls until tagged. Please note that it is not possible to apply more than one tag after a call. To add additional tags to a call, please re-open the call, add the desired tags, and press the "Done" button.
⚠️ Please note that calls must connect in order for Mandatory Tagging to be available.
⚠️ Please also note that Mandatory Call Tagging is not available on mobile applications and can be used only on the desktop and web applications.
