Learn about what data is readily available for you to export, and how to do so, for each Analytics dashboard.
Why would I need to perform data exports if I already have the Dashboards to visualize my organization activity insights?
In addition to the dashboards, exporting data as a complementary source of insights to the available visualizations may be useful in the following situations:
-
Visualizing Aircall Analytics data in another reporting tool that aggregates business data from different sources
-
Drilling down into the data in a different manner than the available dashboard filters and visualizations
-
Retaining and comparing historical data from all Aircall dashboards to study trends over time
-
Sharing the data with other colleagues who don’t have access to the Aircall dashboard
-
Feeling more comfortable working with data in Excel or another platform
Data exports from Aircall Analytics can help you get additional insights not presented on the visualizations of the dashboards, help you maximize the utility of the data already available at your fingertips, and can help you work with data in the way you feel most comfortable.
What data is available to export in each Dashboard?
Call History
You can find the Call History dashboard in the left navigation pane, inside the Call Settings section:
⚠️ Please note that you will get different visualization options depending on which Download menu you use to do the data export: from the Dashboard’s top right menu, or from the Table’s top right corner menu.
1. Exporting data from the top right corner of the Call History dashboard:
By exporting the data using the 'Download' button in the top-right corner of the Overview dashboard, you will download the same columns shown in the table visualization, and in the same order (up to 1000 rows). Please use the dashboard filters to adjust the data shown to the granularity you need.
⚠️ Please go to the next section in this article to see which additional columns you can get downloading the data from the table menu instead.
There are two formats available for obtaining this export:
-
PDF: you will receive exactly the visualizations and data you have in the Overview dashboard in a PDF file that will be directly downloaded from your browser.
⚠️ Please note that, in order to view all data for the specified time range (including data shown on tiles like Calls by main participant), you must select the “Expand tables to show all rows” option. Otherwise, you will only download the portion of the table that is visible without scrolling in the dashboard.
-
CSV: you will get a zip file directly downloaded from your browser that contains a separate CSV file for each tile shown in the Overview dashboard.
2. All Calls data export from the table of the Call History dashboard:
With this option, you will get all calls data with the same format previously available on the legacy Overview dashboard, and all the rows that match your filter selection instead of only up to the 1000 rows that are shown on the dashboard visualization.
💡Please note that, in certain export options, you will be able to select your preferred format:
-
File format: TXT, Excel Spreadsheet, CSV, JSON, HTML, Markdown, PNG.
You will get the following 30 columns, in this order, that matches the Legacy Overview dashboard All calls data export:

⚠️ Please note that you will get different data exports depending on which menu you use to perform the export.
