On September 7, 2026, Aircall is retiring Additional Users and Additional Numbers. Both will no longer be purchasable from the Aircall Dashboard. This article explains what's changing, what happens to your existing subscription, and what to expect on your invoices during the transition.
Note: You were notified about this change and how it affects your account on July 8, 2026. This article covers what to expect immediately after the migration.
What's changing
Going forward, when you need to add users or numbers to your account, you'll purchase:
- Standard User Licenses instead of Additional Users
- Paid Numbers instead of Additional Numbers
If your account has access to Flex Licenses, you can choose either Standard or Flex licenses when adding users.
How your subscription and invoices are changing
To simplify Aircall's product catalog, existing Additional Users and Additional Numbers are being consolidated as follows:
- Additional Users are consolidated into Standard User Licenses, or converted to Flex User Licenses, depending on your contract terms.
- If an Additional User also included an add-on license (for example, Analytics+), that portion is converted to the corresponding add-on license.
- Additional Numbers are consolidated into Paid Phone Numbers, or converted to Flex Numbers, depending on your contract terms.
As a result, Additional Users and Additional Numbers will no longer appear on your subscription, your invoices, or in your Aircall Dashboard.
Important: This migration doesn't change the commitment terms of licenses and numbers you've already purchased. Your commitment, billing frequency, total invoiced amount, and all negotiated pricing stay exactly the same.

Your September 5 invoice
On September 5, 2026, Aircall will issue a one-time invoice to close out charges on any Additional User or Additional Number created partway through your current billing cycle. This invoice includes only those charges, nothing else.
Important: Additional Users and Additional Numbers are normally charged at the end of each billing cycle, prorated from the day they were created through the end of that cycle. This one-time invoice follows the same logic: it charges only for Additional Users and Additional Numbers created mid-cycle, prorated from their creation date through the end of the cycle.
Example
Here's how this plays out for a customer who's billed monthly on the 1st, paying $280 for 4 month-to-month Standard Professional Plan User Licenses and $70 for 1 month-to-month Professional Plan Additional User.
September 1: Customer receives a standard invoice:
- $280 for their 4 Standard Professional Plan User Licenses, charged for the period from September 1 to September 30.
- $70 for their 1 Professional Plan Additional User, charged for the period from September 1 to September 30.
September 2: Customer creates a Professional Plan Additional User.
September 5: Customer receives a one-time invoice to close out outstanding Additional User and Additional Number charges: $67.67, a prorated charge for the Additional User created on September 2, covering the period from September 2 to September 30.
October 1: From this point on, Additional Users and Additional Numbers no longer appear on any invoice.
FAQs
Why did I receive an invoice on September 5? That's not my usual billing date.
The September 5 invoice is a one-time invoice to close out any remaining Additional User and Additional Number charges. Only Additional Users and Additional Numbers created mid-cycle are included. After this invoice, you won't be charged for these products again, since Aircall no longer offers them.
How were the charges on this invoice calculated?
The same way they always have been. Additional Users and Additional Numbers are prorated from their creation date through the end of the billing period. This invoice simply pulls those charges forward to close them out in one go, rather than waiting for your next regular invoice.
Has my pricing changed because of this migration?
No. This migration has no impact on your negotiated contract pricing. Aircall is honoring all existing contract pricing throughout the migration.
