Aircall allows you to log AI Live Assist Playbook summaries and Custom Summaries in HubSpot, so your AI generated call insights are recorded directly in call notes. This gives your teams better visibility, tracking, and reporting, since logged AI data appears on the relevant contact, company, or deal records in HubSpot.

This article explains how AI logging works, how to enable or disable it, what information is recorded, and how it appears in HubSpot call notes.

Prerequisites

To use AI logging features, you must have:

  • AI Live Assist (AIAP) enabled on your Aircall account
  • HubSpot integration installed and authenticated
  • Admin access to the Aircall Dashboard
Note: AI logging settings only appear in your HubSpot integration settings if your account has AI Live Assist enabled. If you do not see these options, contact your Account Manager to learn more.

How AI Live Assist Playbook logging works

AI Live Assist provides two key features:

  • Live Prompts: Real time prompts that appear to agents during calls based on keywords mentioned
  • Playbooks: Structured summaries based on sales methodologies (such as PACTT, MEDDIC, or custom frameworks) that organize call information into defined sections

When Playbook logging is enabled, AI generated Playbook summaries are automatically added to HubSpot call notes. This gives your team a structured view of the call alongside standard call details in HubSpot.

Enable or disable AI logging in HubSpot

You can control whether AI generated content is logged in HubSpot from your HubSpot integration settings in the Aircall Dashboard.

Steps:

  1. Go to Aircall Dashboard > Integrations & API.
  2. Select your HubSpot integration.
  3. Click the Settings tab.
  4. Scroll to the AI Logging section.
  5. Configure the following settings:
    • Enable Playbook Summary Logging: Choose Yes to enable logging or No to disable it.
      Enable Custom Summary Logging: Choose Yes to enable logging or No to disable it.
  6. Click Save.

Important: These settings only apply to new calls going forward. Previously logged calls are not updated retroactively.

Limitations

Supported limitations

  • Custom Playbooks: Supports up to 10 sections. All configured sections are logged when logging is enabled.
  • Custom Summaries: When enabled, Custom Summaries supplement the standard AI generated summary based on your configuration.

Best practices

  • Tailor summaries to your process: Use Custom Summaries if your team needs specific information that differs from the standard summary format.
  • Manage call note length: If call notes become too long, consider disabling Playbook logging and using the Recording Link in HubSpot to access full call details in Aircall.
