Help Scout — Version 3

Mobile — Call Diagnostics

Mobile users can now assess the quality of their mobile network and audio setup before issues impact their calls. Call Diagnostics provides real-time insights and actionable recommendations to proactively improve call quality.

  • Check network conditions and expected call quality.
  • Receive practical recommendations, such as turning off a VPN, checking roaming settings, switching between Wi-Fi and cellular, or enabling Transfer to Carrier.
  • Troubleshoot audio issues including delays, choppy sound, or weak signal.

Action required:

  • Android users must update to version 7.14.0 or later.
  • iOS users must update to version 9.3.0 or later.

Mobile — “My templates” for SMS and WhatsApp

Agents on mobile can now save their most effective SMS and WhatsApp messages as templates, improving efficiency and response times while reducing repetitive manual effort.

  • Create a template by long-pressing an existing SMS or WhatsApp message and selecting Save as template.
  • Create a new template by navigating to the template list and tapping Create new template.

Availability:

  • Android version 7.14.0 or later.
  • iOS version 9.3.0 or later.

Mobile — Liquid Glass UI for iOS 26

A UI refresh has been rolled out to the Aircall iOS app for users on iOS 26, delivering a more modern and spacious experience.

  • Redesigned bottom navigation bar with updated icons.
  • Navigation bar now collapses on scroll to provide more space for content.
  • Keypad button replaced with a “+” icon, which will serve as the entry point for key actions, including calling.

Action required:

  • Users must update their iPhone to iOS 26 and update the Aircall iOS app to version 9.3.0 or later.

Improvements

HubSpot — Send SMS (Advanced) from workflows

The HubSpot integration has been updated to allow teams to automatically send SMS messages directly from HubSpot workflows, providing greater flexibility and control.

  • Dynamic mapping: Select the “From” Aircall number dynamically using HubSpot properties, such as matching the lead’s assigned owner.
  • User attribution: Attach a specific Aircall user to a static number action so SMS messages are attributed to a specific team member in logs and analytics. This is available only when selecting Number as the send-from option.

How it works:

  • In HubSpot, add the Send SMS action under the Aircall section.
  • Configure Aircall Number by choosing Number (static) or Custom Input (dynamic mapping via tokens).
  • If Number is selected, choose a specific sender user from the dropdown to attribute the message.

Routing — Ring To widget

  • Improved guidance: When no users or teams exist, the widget now displays clear instructions instead of a generic “No results found” message.
  • Visual and UX overhaul: The Ring To widget has been redesigned to provide a clearer and more intuitive selection experience.
  • Simpler selection: Easier selection of users, teams, or external numbers.
  • Smoother onboarding: Reduces setup friction and prevents users from getting blocked when configuring numbers and call flows.
