If you're having trouble hearing the other person, or if they can't hear you, the following troubleshooting steps can help. These steps also apply if you're experiencing audio delays (latency).

 

  1. Set the Default Audio Device:
    • Go to Settings > System > Sound.
    • Under "Output" and "Input," select 'Your Headset' as the default device.
    • Check App volume and device preferences, and ensure the Aircall app is using the headset.

  2. Restart Windows Audio Service:
    • Open Run (Win + R) and type services.msc

    • Find Windows Audio, right-click, and select Restart

  3. Disable Exclusive Mode:
    • Open Control Panel > Sound
    • Right-click on the 'Your Headset' under Playback and Recording, select Properties.
    • Go to the Advanced tab and uncheck Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device

  4. Update Bluetooth Drivers:
    • Open Device Manager (Win + X > Device Manager).
    • Expand Bluetooth and update the driver for your Bluetooth adapter.
    • Restart the computer after the update.
