When you want to add numbers from a ported block or request extensions, the process cannot be completed through self-service in the Aircall Dashboard. You will need to contact our Customer Support team.

Adding numbers from a ported block

If you already have a block of numbers that has been successfully ported to Aircall and you would like to add more of those numbers to your account, then send a request to our Customer Support team

Steps:

  1. From the Aircall Help Center, click on "Contact us" and submit a request to the Customer Support team.

  2. In your request, clearly state that you would like to add already ported numbers.

  3. Include the exact numbers you want to add in your message.

Creating extensions on ported numbers

In some regions, such as Germany and Austria, Aircall supports the use of digital extensions. These are virtually created numbers based on the main ported numbers. They can be shorter or longer than standard numbers. Aircall can only ensure the functionality of extensions that comply with the number lengths determined by local regulators.

Important: Extensions can only be created on ported numbers. They cannot be created on purchased Aircall numbers.

If you have already ported your numbers and would like to create digital extensions, please follow these steps. 

Steps:

  1. From the Aircall Help Center, click on "Contact us" and submit a request to the Customer Support team.

  2. Clearly state in your request that you have already ported numbers and would like to create digital extensions.

  3. Specify the exact extension numbers you want to add. Mention the main ported number or number block related to the extension (if known).

The standard time frame for creating an extension is 1 to 3 business days.
