The Sellsy integration helps you view customer details in real time, log call activity automatically, sync contacts from Sellsy to Aircall, and connect calls through click to dial. This article explains the key features and how they work.

Sellsy data in your Aircall Insight Cards

When an inbound or outbound call begins with an Aircall number, the integration searches for matching Sellsy contacts by phone number. If a match is found, the contact's details appear directly in your Aircall Insight Cards.

Insight Cards always display the contact name, email, and type. Depending on the contact details stored in Sellsy, additional fields may appear, including position and linked company. If opportunities are linked to the contact, a matching opportunity and a direct link to it will also appear.

Important: Review the contact and opportunity matching rules to understand how the integration prioritizes different Sellsy contact types.

Call activity creation

If a contact is found by phone or mobile number, the integration creates a native Sellsy call activity approximately one minute after the call ends. The activity is linked to the relevant contacts and opportunities.

The activity includes the following properties:

Additional activity details

  • Owner: Assigned to the Aircall user if their email matches. For calls without an associated user, such as inbound missed calls, the integration assigns the contact owner.
  • Duration: Set using the full Aircall call duration, including waiting and ringing time.
  • Description: Includes:
    • Call ID
    • Link to the conversation in the Aircall Dashboard (recording, AI, and other details)
    • Aircall team (if available)
    • Aircall number name
    • Tags as text
    • Notes made by the user in Aircall

If you are subscribed to the AI package, the description also includes:

  • Sentiment
  • Summary
  • Key topics
Important: Review the contact and opportunity matching rules in this article to understand how the integration prioritizes different Sellsy contact types.
Important: Tags must be applied in Aircall Workspace before the call ends or they will not be logged.

Click to dial

Sellsy’s native functionality is already configured to open Aircall Workspace when you click any phone number in Sellsy. No additional setup is needed.

One way contact sync

When you create or update a contact in Sellsy, the integration creates or updates that contact in Aircall.

Note: This applies only to new contacts created after you install the integration. To add existing contacts to Aircall, you can import them from Sellsy.
Note: Aircall does not allow two contacts with the same phone number. If a duplicate contact is created in Sellsy, it will override the existing contact information in Aircall with the newest version.
Note: Contacts deleted in Sellsy are not deleted in Aircall.

Secure setup and Aircall number selection

The integration uses the OAuth protocol to securely connect to Aircall and provide a smooth installation experience. If you are logged in with admin permissions, you can install the integration in just a few clicks.

During installation, you can select which Aircall numbers you want to connect to Sellsy. The integration logs activity only for inbound or outbound calls made from the numbers you select.
