Aircall Admins can now import an existing Smartflows call distribution to another number. This feature helps save time when setting up new numbers or replicating call flows across existing numbers.
Import a Smartflows distribution to a new Aircall number
Before importing a Smartflows configuration, ensure that you already have at least one number using Smartflows that you want to copy.
Steps:
Create a new number following the usual process in your Admin Dashboard.
Once the number is created, select it from the Numbers section and go to the Call distribution tab.
Click Build your call flow.
When prompted, select Import an existing Smartflows setup or Build from scratch.
Selecting the import option will allow you to reuse the structure and configuration of an existing Smartflows call distribution.
Import a Smartflows distribution to an existing Aircall number
If you want to import a Smartflows call flow into an existing number, both numbers must already be using Smartflows.
Steps:
Navigate to the existing number in your Dashboard.
Click Edit to open the Smartflows Editor.
Click the Import button in the top-right corner of the editor.
Select Import a setup.
Search for and select the number whose Smartflows setup you want to import.
Choose what to import
When importing a Smartflows setup, you can choose the level of configuration to import:
| Option | Description | Recommended use |
|---|---|---|
| Steps only (not configured) | Imports only the structure of the call flow without any configuration. You’ll need to manually configure each widget (ringing rules, business hours, messages, etc.). | When you want to replicate the flow’s structure but not its detailed setup. |
| Full configuration | Imports the entire call flow with all existing configurations. | When you want identical behavior across numbers or only plan to adjust a few details. |
| Number settings | Copies the number’s Settings tab, including features like callback requests, call recording, and call transcription. | When you want consistent feature settings between numbers. |
| Connected integrations | Replicates integrations linked to the source number (for example, HubSpot or Salesforce). | When you want to maintain the same integrations across numbers. |
After selecting your desired options, click Confirm to complete the import. Once the import is finished, you can edit or publish the new call flow as needed.
