This is a legacy article and will not apply to most current users. It is only relevant if you configured the Aircall CTI for Salesforce before January 2020.

Some features of the Aircall CTI for Salesforce may stop working when your CTI Adapter URL is outdated. Impacted features can include:

  • Click-to-dial

  • Aircall CTI screen-pop

  • Salesforce Contact page screen-pop on incoming calls

It only takes a few clicks to update your CTI configuration so that all features continue to work as expected.

Important: If you configured the Aircall CTI for Salesforce prior to January 2020, you must manually update the Aircall CTI Adapter URL from your Salesforce account.

Before you start

You must:

  • Log in to your Salesforce account

  • Have Salesforce admin permissions to complete these steps

Steps to update your Salesforce CTI adapter URL

  1. In Salesforce, go to Setup.

  2. In the Quick Find bar, search for Call Center.

  3. Click Call Centers, then select Aircall CTI for Salesforce.

  4. Click Edit.

  5. Locate the CTI Adapter URL and CTI Adapter URL2 fields.

    • If you have not updated your CTI before, both fields will still show the old URL:

      • https://phone.aircall.io/salesforce

    • Update both fields with the new URL:

      • https://cti.aircall.io/salesforce

  6. Click Save.

Once saved, your Aircall CTI for Salesforce will be updated and all features should be available and working as intended.
