Keep your helpdesk in sync with your phone conversations by integrating Aircall and HappyFox. This integration enables automatic ticket creation after calls and allows you to use the Aircall CTI (Computer Telephony Integration) directly within HappyFox.

Note: This integration is only available with the following HappyFox plans:

Step 1: Get your API key from Aircall

  1. Log in to your Aircall Dashboard> Integrations & API
  2. Go to the API keys tab and select Generate an API key
  3. Enter a Key name, then copy the API ID and API Key
  4. Save both values securely - you will need them in the next step

Step 2: Add the Aircall API key to HappyFox

  1. Log in to HappyFox
  2. Go to Apps > Voice > Aircall
  3. Click Install
  4. Enter the API key and API ID obtained from Aircall
  5. Select a Default Category. All tickets created from calls will be associated with this category.
    • Once the configuration is complete, you can change the category mapping for individual Aircall numbers.
  6. Click Save to enable the integration

Step 3: Set up Aircall numbers in HappyFox

After saving your integration settings, all available Aircall numbers will appear for category association.

  1. Choose the appropriate Category for each Aircall number.
  2. Select the numbers for which inbound and outbound calls will automatically create tickets by checking the Active box.
    • Even if a number is not active, your team can still make and receive calls from the in-app widget.
  3. Click Save to complete the setup.

Step 4: Configure your Aircall CTI in HappyFox

Important: Before using the Aircall in HappyFox, your HappyFox account must be whitelisted by Aircall Support.
Contact our Customer Support team and include your custom HappyFox domain in the request.

Once your account is whitelisted, you can access the Aircall phone directly from HappyFox.

Steps:

  1. Go to the Ticket List page.
  2. On the top bar, click the Phone icon.
  3. Enter your Aircall login credentials and click Sign in.
  4. Connect your microphone, complete the audio test, and start calling.
Note: As of 29 September 2018, only Chrome and Chrome-based browsers are supported for the in-app Aircall widget in HappyFox.
Other browsers such as Firefox and Safari are not supported.
Tip: Ensure microphone access is allowed for your HappyFox URL in Chrome site permissions.
