Integrations in Aircall can be deactivated manually by Admins or automatically by the system. Deactivation temporarily stops data from syncing between Aircall and your integration, but allows you to reactivate it later without reinstalling it.

How integrations are deactivated

Users with admin access can deactivate or reactivate integrations at any time directly in the Aircall Dashboard.

Automatic deactivation happens when an issue is detected and the integration’s requirements are no longer met. For example, if the Admin who created the integration changes their login credentials, the integration will be automatically disabled.

Note: Automatic deactivation helps prevent errors or data syncing issues when integration permissions or settings become invalid.

How to reactivate an integration

Steps:

  1. Go to the Integrations & API section in your Aircall Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to the My Integrations section and select the Inactive checkbox.

Aircall dashboard > Integrations & API page showing ‘My integrations’ with the Inactive filter checked
  3. Select the inactive integration you want to reactivate.
  4. Under General settings, click Active to reactivate your integration.

Important: If your integration has been automatically deactivated, contact the Customer Support team to identify the cause and resolve the issue before reactivation.

Data and logging during deactivation

While an integration is inactive, calls will not log to that integration. Once the integration is reactivated, missed call data will not be logged retroactively. However, all call data remains stored in Aircall.

Note: If you manually deactivate an integration, be aware that no calls will log to your CRM during that period.

Deactivation vs. deletion

Deactivation and deletion are not the same process.

ActionEffectReversal
DeactivateTemporarily stops call logging but keeps settings intactCan be reactivated anytime
DeleteRemoves the integration entirelyMust be reinstalled from scratch
Important: When an integration is deleted, any previously logged calls and messages in your CRM remain, but all contacts synced through the contact sync feature will be removed from Aircall. To avoid losing synced contacts, deactivate the integration instead of deleting it.
