Contact match rules
In Sellsy, contacts are separated into different objects (individuals, companies, contacts…) and those objects can be of different types (client, prospect, supplier…). You can also have duplicate contacts with the same phone numbers. Due to this, the integration has an arbitrary logic to find and prioritize contacts when the integration finds multiple contact types with the same phone number:
- Objects of type Individual will be prioritized first
- After individuals, objects of type Company will be prioritized
- Lastly objects of type Contact are used
- If multiple objects of the same type are found with the same phone number, we will use the first one provided by the Sellsy API
Opportunities match rules
We apply the following logic when displaying opportunities in Aircall insight cards and also when logging calls in opportunities:
- The opportunity status must be open or late
- In case multiple opportunities are found the integration selects the first one by created date in ascending order
- If the contact found is of type supplier, no call data is logged in the opportunity as those types can’t have opportunities in Sellsy
- If a contact is of type contact, the integration checks if it’s linked to a company.
- If the contact is not linked to any company, the integration won’t execute any logic related to the opportunity as standalone contacts can’t have opportunities
- If the contact is linked to a company, the integration will try to find opportunities in the company following points 1 and 2 of this list
- If a contact is of the type client or prospect, it must be an individual or a company. In those cases the integration will search for opportunities with the criteria explained in points 1 and 2
Agent Tags and Note logging
You might notice that some calls come without the applied tags and agent notes in the call log of Sellsy. This is happening because the call screen hasn’t been closed in the Aircall Workspace. You must ensure you close the call dialog after it ends.
AI Insights
For AI insights to be generated your numbers need to be properly configured, and the call needs to last more than 1 minute and less than 3 hours.
API Rate limitations
This integration uses public APIs which have some rate limitations. The APIs consumption is:
- Sellsy API calls for every phone Call: Min 5 - Max 9
- Aircall API calls for every phone Call: Min 1 - Max 3
With Aircall API you might start reaching limits if you have more than 40 phone calls a minute. For Sellsy API, it might change based on what plan you are subscribed to.
In the case you start experiencing intermittent disconnects or data loss, and the number of calls per minute is high, contact the relevant support team to ensure the limit is not being exceeded.
