To access external contacts, click on Contacts in the vertical menu, then select the Contacts tab:
The list of external contacts is shared across the organization and will be displayed here. Additionally, users can search for contacts by First Name, or Last Name, or Company, or Number.
In the list you will see:
- First and Last Name
- Company
- Number
- Integrations
Contacts are now displayed by default, eliminating the need to search. Users will also see quick actions from the list, allowing them to call contacts, copy their numbers, and add to the Power Dialer.
You can view the additional details by clicking on a contact's card in the list. It includes:
- Call and messaging actions
- Contact edit and delete options
- Direct link to access integrations
Please note that access to delete and edit options depends on the user’s role. Users will only be able to delete a contact if they are an admin user. Be careful, as editing or deleting a contact could impact the conversation.
Aircall contact:
- All fields are editable
- After contact deletion or editing the primary number, the associated conversation will remain but will be unlinked
Contact via CRM synchronization:
- It’s recommended to edit or delete contacts directly in the CRM, accessible via the provided direct link. However, edit and delete options will be available if the contact exists as an Aircall copy in the database
