Bluetooth headsets, earphones, and other wireless devices can be used with Aircall, but they sometimes experience connectivity issues. To help identify the source of the problem, we recommend testing a wired headset to determine if the symptoms you're experiencing disappear.
If switching to a wired headset resolves your call quality issues, it's likely that the Bluetooth connection is the cause. To improve Bluetooth performance, try these suggestions:
-
Use a Bluetooth Dongle: Whenever possible, use the Bluetooth dongle provided by your headset manufacturer instead of your laptop's built-in Bluetooth. This can lead to a more stable connection.
-
Install Headset Software: Ensure you've installed the software recommended by your headset manufacturer, such as Jabra Direct, to keep your device up to date and enhance performance.
⚠️ Please note that Corsair brand headsets are not supported for use with Aircall.
-
Maintain Close Range: Keep your Bluetooth headset within a close range of the dongle or laptop. This helps reduce the chance of connectivity issues caused by distance or interference.
