MMS media compression |
What's changing? We recently added a new MMS option for US and Canada numbers. Now we are introducing auto-compression of media. What do I need to know? Only JPG/JPEG formats are compatible with compression. Each image is compressed to 60% of its original size, and the maximum output dimension is set at 2048 pixels (width for landscape format and height for portrait format). The compression output and quality depend on several criteria, including the compression parameters, but also on the initial media size and quality, number and type of colors, etc. |
