Aircall is introducing a new version of the Date and Timezone filter to make your filtering experience easier.
What is changing compared to the previous version?
The date and timezone filters have been improved for easier use.
You will now find an update and reset button located on the right side of the screen:
The old refresh button is no longer available, and should not try to be used.
Only the Analytics+ dashboards allow access to more than 6 months of data. Previously this limitation was not clearly indicated, so a note has now been added to provide this information to users:
⚠️ Please Note:
- When transitioning to the new filters, you will need to reselect the desired dates and timezone (any previously saved selections will be discarded). After reselecting, the new settings will be saved.
- The "Last X Days" selections are no longer available. Instead, you can now choose the specific time period you want to observe.
Date
This filter allows you to select the date range you wish the data in the dashboard to reflect. The dashboard will include calls or user events that occurred or began within the selected date range, in the selected timezone.
You can select a specific range of dates, for example, from the 1st of March to the 6th of March. Alternatively, you can use a preset such as "Today" or "Last week."
The behavior of the presets can be be found below:
Preset | Example |
Today |
On the 5th of February, it will show the data from the 5th of February On the 6th of February, it will show the data from the 6th of February |
This week | From the Monday of the current week to the Sunday of the current week (included) |
Last week | The same as "This week," but for the previous week (previous Monday to previous Sunday) |
This month | From the first day of the current month (e.g the 1st of March) to the last day of the current month (e.g the 31st of March) (included) |
Last month | The same as "This month," but for the previous month |
This year | From the first day of the current year (1st of January) to the last day of the current year (31st of December) |
⚠️ Please Note:
- Only the Analytics+ dashboards enable access to more than 6 months of data.
- By default, the selected date range is "Today".
Selecting a single day other than Today
To select one specific day, that is not "Today," you can simply click on the specific date twice to set it as the start and end date. For example, if you wanted to filter for only June 11th, you would click June 11th twice:
Timezone
This filter allows you to select the time zone in which all data is displayed. By default, the value is in UTC.
The time zone must be changed to the users' time zone, especially if the Hours filter has been applied. If a user sets hours in their local time zone, but does not update the time zone filter, the results will not match what is expected.
Update the dashboard
To update the data visible on the dashboard, users can click on the “Update” button.
Please note that data is not updated in real time. For more details on the refresh rate of data, refer to General KPI Calculation and Filtering Rules.
Reset the dashboard
To reset all filters to their default values, click on the "Reset" link.
