Symptom
When attempting to call phone numbers from an Aircall Australian local rate (13 or 1300), freephone (1800), or premium rate (1900) number, the call fails to connect.
Cause
Australian numbers starting with 13, 1300, 1800, and 1900 are prohibited from making outbound calls. This is due to regulatory and/or carrier restrictions, limiting this type of number for inbound calling purposes only.

Solution
If you are needing to make outbound calls with an Australian number, make sure to use a number that does not begin with +61 13, +61 1300, +61 1800, or +61 1900. Aircall offers a wide range of Australian geographic numbers that will allow you to continue calling all mobile and landline numbers. Australian geographic numbers can be purchased directly within the Admin Dashboard, or you can reach out to the Porting Team for assistance.
