By default, Chrome automatically sets permissions for each website visited, however, it is possible to configure these permission yourself. When using Aircall, it is recommended to follow the steps/recommendations below, to ensure your settings are configured so that you have the best experience possible.
⚠️ Please note these settings are valid/set for a whole domain (such as .aircall.io, .google.com, etc), which means as long you are connected to any of these domains, the settings are being applied.
Accessing Permissions Settings
As an example, let's say you would like to set the permissions for whenever you are on the Aircall dashboard:
- Go to your Aircall dashboard, then click the lock icon next to the address bar.
- Click on site settings.
A list of permissions will then be displayed, where you can allow or restrict each of them as necessary.
Aircall Dashboard and Web App
For the Dashboard and Web app to work as expected, we recommend allowing the following permissions:
This will allow you to properly:
- Use the web app to perform calls
- Be informed of incoming calls
- Be redirected to the expected page when clicking on insight card links
- Ensure the Dashboard Activity Feed displays the latest events (calls, user status changes) in real time automatically
Integrations with a CTI (Salesforce, Hubspot, Zendesk,…)
The site settings should be configured directly from the domain of the CRM in question:
For the CTI to work as expected, we recommend allowing the following permissions:

- Use the CTI
- Be informed of incoming calls
- Be redirected to the expected page when clicking on insight card links
