As an Aircall admin user, you have the ability to build and add new teams and assign them to your phone numbers. Using teams is a great way to utilize a queue or to add more coverage to your phone number.
✅ If you are subscribed to Aircall's Professional plan, you will be able to create as many teams as you need. However, if you are on the Essentials plan, you will only be able to create a maximum of three teams. If you would like to create more, please reach out to your account manager.
How to add a new team:

Log in to the Dashboard

Click on Teams located in the navigation menu on the left-hand side of the screen

Select Create Team located on the right-hand side of the screen

Pick a fun emoji to set your team apart from the others, and name it

Click on Create
How to add Users to a team:
There are two ways to add users to a team.
First, you can add a user directly from the team list by clicking + Add a user. You will then be prompted to search for the user you want to add to your team. Find your user of choice, and then click Add.
Second, click directly on a specific team

Click on Teams located in the navigation menu on the left-hand side of the screen

Search the list for the Team you created
- Click on + Add user

Under the Team members sections, click on Add user

Search for the users you would like to add to the team (you need to search a minimum of 3 letters to locate the user details)

Click on Add
Finally, make sure that you have assigned the team to the Call Distribution of a phone number. You will now be ready to make and receive calls!
⚠️ Please note that you cannot create two teams with the same name. When trying to create a team with a name that has already been used, you will receive the following error:
