When configuring your Aircall-Salesforce integration, it's important to make sure the correct settings are selected for the Type field in Salesforce, as calls will not log if they are not. You will need to set the correct Field-Level Security for this field, as well as add it to your Task Page Layout. Follow the steps below for Lightning or Classic to ensure everything is set up correctly.

Log in to Salesforce

Find and click on Setup

Search for, then click on, Object Manager

Find and click on Task

Go to Fields & Relationships, then click on Type

Click Set Field-Level Security

Select Visible for all options, then click Save
Adding to Task Layout

On the Task page, click Page Layouts, then Task Layout

Type field into the Task Detail section wherever you would like

Click on Setup

Find the Build section in the left-hand menu and click the drop-down for Customize, then Activities, then click on Task Fields

On the Task Fields page, find and click on Type

On the Type page, click Set Field-Level Security

Select Visible for all options, then click Save

From the Setup page, go to the Build section, click the drop-down for Customize, then Activities, then click on Task Page Layouts

Click on Edit for your Task Layout, then drag the Type field into the Task Detail section wherever you would like
